Transdermal Electrolysis System
No Needles - No Pain
So How Does It Work?
Instead of inserting a needle or holding a tweezer, Transdermal Electrolysis
involves placing a probe into our gel to transmit galvanic current through
the skin to the hair follicles. This current creates a chemical reaction
changing the water and salt present in the hair follicle to sodium
hydroxide. As in the case of traditional needle electrolysis, the sodium
hydroxide destroys the germinative cells, thus achieving permanent hair
removal.
Transdermal
Electrolysis is a safer and more effective way to remove hair from any part
of the body.
Common Areas of Unwanted Hair
There are many areas where hair grows undesirably and are suitable for
Transdermal treatment. These areas include the Hair Line, Eyebrows, Facial,
Neck, Breast, Underarm, Back, Arm, Abdomen, Bikini Line, Hands, Thigh, Legs,
and Feet.
What Are The Advantages?

No swelling, bruising, scabbing or scarring.
Excellent on distorted and ingrowing hairs.
Makeup can be worn soon after the treatment.
We can treat the complete area each time you visit.
NO risk of infection.
IMPORTANT POINTS
Excessive hair growth can be attributed to many causes. Heredity, stress,
hormonal changes or even medications can be some of the causes.
In women, puberty, pregnancy and menopause can affect the hair-growth
cycles.
It takes 6-12 weeks for a hair to grow from the papilla to the surface of
the skin.
Each hair has its own growing cycle.
There can be as many as 1000 hair follicles in a square inch of skin, but
only an average of 10 percent of the hairs will be above the surface at one
time.
Because of these factors, permanent hair removal takes time to accomplish.
How Often Do I Need Treatment?
For the first 9 to 12 weeks of your treatment, you need to be treated every
week to ten days. The reason for this is that the hair can only be killed
during the growth cycle and each hair has its own growing cycle. It takes 6
to 12 weeks for hair to grow from the base of the follicle to the surface of
the skin. So after you have begun your treatments and all of the hair has
been removed from an area, the hair that you see for the next 12 weeks has
not been treated. The hair follicle may only remain in the growing stage for
two weeks after the hair surfaces.
After the initial 9 to 12 weeks of treatments, you should only come for
treatments when you can see hair growing.
